Students ages 11-16 who have completed the Junior Curator program, can register to volunteer with Longue Vue Staff to meet community service hour requirements during Free Family Sundays. Volunteer hours are available from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the first Sunday of each month. 

Participants should plan to bring a water bottle, lunch and snacks, hat, sweater, closed toe shoes, sun screen and bug spray.

Instill a love of literacy and join us for a reading under the oaks with Lady Livingston! Designed for ages 5-10, but all are welcome!   Each participant will receive a copy of a book, while supplies last. 

Children will listen to the story, have a brief discussion and then journal using words or pictures, under the beautiful oak trees at Longue Vue!

Are you curious about the spaces not on a typical house tour? Would you like to see a below grade basement in New Orleans? Then join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the attic and basement of Longue Vue. The tour will include an abbreviated walk through of the main floors of the home and concentrate on those areas not available to regular tours.
